Autoglym Cleans Up with Retran®
One of the world's leading suppliers of car care products, Autoglym, has chosen Retran® Packaging for its Hi-Tech accessory range.
The packs are highly decorated with foil printing and can be seen in Halfords and motor accessory stores around the world.
Autoglym has very strict environmental policies and the introduction of recycled packaging technology enhances the green credentials of this unique company.
Retran® is a PET based plastic that is made from post-consumer rubbish. In simple terms this includes fizzy water bottles, salad containers and other PET plastic which is collected, cleaned and reprocessed to produce this unique material. The composition of recycled content is a minimum of 70% and in some cases it is almost 100%. The breakthrough in the development of this material has been to achieve total transparency and retain the strength required for the traditional Jetran® packaging.
Bell Packaging are the exclusive manufacturers of Retran®, Jetran® and Petran® products. From their factory in Luton they produce and supply product throughout Europe. For new packaging designs Bell offer the complete service – prototypes and dummy packaging. With 30 years experience the Bell staff have a wealth of knowledge as well as new ideas to offer and anybody wishing to create a unique packaging concept should contact their marketing department for a no obligation free consultation. Bell Packaging also have manufacturing facilities in India.
Welcoming the arrival of Retran® technology, Autoglym's Marketing Manager, Oliver James, comments:
"We have worked with Bell for many years and pioneered the use of transparent packaging in the car care market. The Hi-Tech range is recognised throughout the world and feedback suggests that customers value the reusable Jetran® packaging, which enables them to safely store the products inside. Using this new recycled material is part of an ongoing programme in which we are looking to reduce our impact on the environment.."

Following on from its recent International award winning experience at Indiapack, BPIPL exhibited for the 1st time at HEIMTEXTIL in Mumbai.
In conjunction with their partners GLOBE PRINT N PACK the companies showed a vast array of packaging concepts in PET PP & PVC.
Over 300 companies visited the stand to discuss their requirements with Mrs Roslyn Penn, Mr Peter Lennie and Mr Rahul Gupta and this had lead to a number of new exciting opportunities and orders being secured.
Commenting on the success of the show Mr Lennie said 'Having supported Heimtextil in Europe for 12 years we knew the Indian exhibition would be a great opportunity for us to promote Jetran® in Asia – Bell Packaging Limited are the leaders in retail packaging design and production for the Textile and Window Fashions industries across Europe and we can now deliver the same service to companies within India'.
BPIPL manufacture the JETRAN® range of products in India including the patented range of JETLOK® end closures.
