Bell Share Latest Packaging Developments with the Clark Family

Published by Belladmin on 10th December, 2019

Responding to a request from the Clark family, Bell welcomed Ezekiel and Malachi to their offices to explain to them how packaging is made and share all the new developments that Bell have launched to deliver more economic packaging solutions.

On arrival Ezekiel and Malachi were given an assembly lesson on Jetran® packaging. This produces clear presentation tubes commonly used for retail display.

The materials are 100% recyclable and the latest development is to utilise polymer made from kerbside collections of household waste. In simple terms this is discarded drinks bottles, salad containers and sandwich boxes that are collected, cleaned, chipped and reprocessed into polymer that is converted into clear plastic film.

Ezekiel and Malachi soon mastered the assembly techniques and then undertook a factory tour to see Jetran® being manufactured. Their visit was done in conjunction with their mother Mrs Pippa Clark.

The visit was completed with a demonstration of the new Jetbox® product which utilises folding box board that is converted into tubing. Supplied packed flat Jetbox® is available in a range of standard sizes.

Bell Managing Director Peter Lennie commented “we were delighted when Pippa contacted us as it gave us the opportunity to share with young people the importance of packaging and the exciting new developments that are happening. They were both very attentive and grasped the whole concept of packaging. They would certainly be invited back and hopefully they can bring some friends as we believe it is very important to educate young people that Britain continues to lead the world in packaging development.”
